The Perc Meets The Hidden Gentleman "Man-I-Toba" / Element Of Crime "Motorcycle Song"

Das ist die nicht die erste Splitsingle unter Beteiligung von The Perc Meets The Hidden Gentleman. Bereits 1989 teilten sich Emilio und Tom mit der großartigen Formation The Pachinko Fake zwei Singleseiten. Die Titel damals Body Language & I Want Ya Scalp  (siehe Discografie) Die vorliegende Single ist eine weitere in einer Serie mit Splitsingles des rührigen Labels Sireena Records. Das bedeutet, dass sich zwei Künster/Bands die beiden Seiten der Single teilen. Es gibt keine A & B Seiten, sondern immer zwei A Seiten. Und die Platte kommt in weissem Vinyl!

Über Element of Crime braucht man nicht viele Worte zu verlieren. Sven Regener und seine Mannen zählen mit ihrer Musik seit Jahren zu den erfolgreichsten deutschen Bands. Für diese Platte stellen sie ihre Version des Arlo Guthrie-Klassikers „Motorcycle Song“ zur Verfügung.
Da passt die Rückseite des „ungewöhnlichsten deutschen Duos“ (Musikexpress) The Perc Meets The Hidden Gentleman trefflich zu. Tom „The Perc“ Redecker und Emilio „The Hidden Gentleman“ Winschetti wählten die Psychofolknummer „Man-I-Toba“ aus. Das passt!

This ist not the first 7" Splitsingle with The Perc Meets The Hidden Gentleman. Already in 1989 Tom and Emilio shared the both sides with the phantastic band  The Pachinko Fake. (Look under Discography)
This new 7" is another one within the  series of split singles released through Sireena Records. Means that two artists' / bands share both sides of the single. There is no A & B sides, but always two A sides. And this record will come in white vinyl!

About Element of Crime we don't need to lose many words. Sven Regener and his men belong to the most successful German bands for years. For this record they spent their version of Arlo Guthrie's classic "Motorcycle Song".
On the backside you'll find a song of the "most unusual German duo" (Musik Express) The Perc Meets The Hidden Gentleman. Excellent. Tom "The Perc" Redecker and Emilio "The Hidden Gentleman" Winschetti chose the psycho-folknumber "Man-I-Toba". This fits!
